Do you have a passion for the environment? Then come join Silver Lake Nature Center's initiative to increase biodiversity!

The IPR Team meet once a month to help clear invasive plants from specific areas on the grounds and trails of the Nature Center. Each season brings new plants in various degrees of difficulty and serves as a learning opportunity!

The Silver Lake Nature Center inspires connections with nature for people of all ages, interests, and abilities through education, recreation, preservation, research, and advocacy.

Description

The Silver Lake Nature Center, where learning comes naturally, is a 235-acre nature preserve located in Bristol Township, Bucks County. It is a facility of the Bucks County Department of Parks & Recreation with additional funding and staffing provided by the Friends of Silver Lake Nature Center. The Center is home to over 40 plant and animal species listed as rare, threatened, or endangered in Pennsylvania. Participation in programs helps protect these species and their habitats. The Center does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its programs, activities, or facilities. People with special needs are asked to give advance notice.
