This is the opportunity for the volunteer use your crafting skills to help others ! Hospice Compassus is seeking volunteers to workk from home on crafts to help support our team of outstaning clinicans to provide service for our patient's and family members.
We are seeking help with the following projects:
- Activity or Busy Blankets (creative freedome sewing the project)
- Card making (painting, or drawing)
- Crochet or knit lap blankets
- Painting / drawing landscapes, scenery (brighten, patients' rooms)
- Painting/ drawing portraits to be given as gifts to family members as a way to remember their loved ones
- Any other creative gift you are willing to offer ! No matter your skill or level, your craft wo;; be great;u appreciated and find a loving home with find a loving home with a patient on Hospice Compassus services.
If you have an idea for a craft not listed above please respond to the posting, and share your passions !
Hospice Compassus provides services in the following counties; Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery.
If you have any additional questions please reach to our volunteer coordinator Kathleen OConnor (215-557-7300) and she will be able to provide support on the steps to onboard as a volunteer.

Description
Hospice care is a type of healthcare that aims to reduce suffering and promote comfort at the end of and promote comfort at the end of an individual's life. Pain and any other symptoms are managed around the clock, and the hospice team focuses greatly on spiritual and emotional health as well.
The foundation of hospice includes nursing care with an emphasis on managing symptoms, practical assistance, and emotional support. Caring for a loved one at home can be challenging. Our goal is to provide timely services to help your family make the most of your time together.
