Are you looking for an opportunity to serve your community ? Are you considering a career in healthcare, psychology, or business ? Hospice Compassus will provide you the training and support to explore career options while making a true difference in the lives of others !

A student will have an opportunity to learn about utilizing a holistic approach to patient care, collobrating with the volunteer coordinator. The student will also have the opportunity to have direct interactions with patients, and families !

Hospice is about giving comfort and hope through improving quality of life during an individuals's last months of life. If you have a heart full of compassion, we would love to speak with you about either visiting with some of our patients, or assisting within the office.

Hospice Compassus coverage areas are in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Please contact volunteer coordinator Kathleen OConnor (215 350 6139). She can answer any questions, or provide information for the onboarding process to become a student /volunteer intern.

We will preserve the dignity of death for our patients and families so that no one will ever die in pain or alone. To provide for the physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families. Our service area includes Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties within Pennsylvania.


Hospice care is a type of healthcare that aims to reduce suffering and promote comfort at the end of and promote comfort at the end of an individual's life. Pain and any other symptoms are managed around the clock, and the hospice team focuses greatly on spiritual and emotional health as well.

The foundation of hospice includes nursing care with an emphasis on managing symptoms, practical assistance, and emotional support. Caring for a loved one at home can be challenging. Our goal is to provide timely services to help your family make the most of your time together.
