The 24th Annual Valley Film Festival is here! We'll be screening indie films, from all over the world, at the Laemmle NoHo 7 theatre, on Lankershim (at Magnolia), August 1-7, 2024, and need patient, outgoing, people persons to check-in guests and filmmakers.

If you are available for one shift (or more), please let us know. Shifts are 4 hours and we can accommodate partial shifts.

if you ARE available and interested, please let us know which one (or more) of the 4-hour shifts listed below you can volunteer and we'll get you scheduled! (And, yes, in some cases, we can accommodate partial shifts.) August 1, 4pm-8pm August 2, 4pm-8pm August 3, 12pm-4pm; 4:30pm-8:30pm August 4: 12pm-4pm; 4:30pm-8:30pm August 5 - 4pm-8pm August 6 - 4pm-8pm August 7 - 4pm-8pm

We're easy-going and fun and love meeting like-minded arts lovers. Join us!

The Valley Film Festival encourages the education, production and distribution of filmmaking in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley


Founded in 2000, The Valley Film Festival, a project of Community Partners, holds the proud title of the first film festival in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley and is designed to bring together established filmmakers, emerging talent, and their audiences on the studio backlot - just North of Hollywood.

We're an all-volunteer, community driven group with a passion for local and foreign films & are looking for like-minded people to join us.

  • Our shifts are 4 hours long. You may choose to volunteer for one shift or multiple shifts.
  • We'll explain our check-in system in-person. It's not that difficult (check a name off a guest list and hand a physical ticket for entry to the patron) and there will be down time.
