Volunteer Role:
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding PDN's reach and impact. You will help us connect with potential members and supporters through online platforms like VolunteerMatch and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach: Identify and connect with individuals and organizations who align with PDN's mission and values.
- Communication: Engage with potential volunteers through online platforms, sharing information about PDN's programs and volunteer opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with volunteers and community partners.
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process by answering questions, providing information, and guiding applicants through the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Passion for PDN's mission and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using online platforms like VolunteerMatch and LinkedIn.
- Experience in community engagement or outreach is a plus.
