Growing Home's Community Garden" is readying for another growing season! The garden will grow and harvest tomatoes, and berries. corn, peppers, basil, beets, carrots, radishes, lettuce, spinach, cucumber, squash, broccoli, and more! One hundred percent of the food will go to our food pantry, giving local families healthy food options. Throughout the Spring and Summer, we'll need volunteers to help tending the garden, spreading compost, planting, pulling weeds, watering, and harvesting. It's a great way to work outdoors and play in the dirt while helping the community. Contact ahmed@growinghome.org for more information.
Opportunity runs from May through October.
