Mission Statement

Transforming communities from surviving to thriving through capacity building and linkages to resources.

CREATS was founded in 2015 as a community-based organization in Homa Bay County, Kenya. The Organization was established by a group of young professionals from the community led by Willis Ochieng and the late George Opiyo. The motivation for establishing CREATS was out of the deep passion to transform our communities from surviving to thriving. At the core, CREATS' founders were inspired to collaborate with the community to dismantle social, cultural, political, and economic barriers holding the community from thriving.
