Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Orange County

The Salvation Army Anaheim Emergency Shelter is hosting a Cleaning Day to ensure a clean and organized space for our shelter guests. Volunteers will help with deep cleaning the dining hall area and organizing the back garden area by pulling weeds and watering plants.

How Volunteering Helps Shelter Guests:

By volunteering for a Cleaning Day, you are directly contributing to the well-being and comfort of the shelter guests. A clean and organized environment promotes a sense of dignity and respect for those experiencing homelessness. Your efforts will create a more welcoming space where guests can enjoy their meals and spend time in the garden area, providing a brief respite from the challenges of homelessness.

Requirements:

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for cleaning tasks.

Volunteers must be mindful that this is an active 325-bed low barrier shelter and should be courteous to those who reside there.

If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your commitment to serving our community and making a difference in the lives of shelter guests.
