ORGANIZATION: FRIENDS OF ROOKERY BAY

The first step is to complete an application to volunteer at https://rookerybay.org/make-a-difference/volunteer/ You will then be invited to attend an orienation/information meeting.

Our Docents are the heartbeat of the Environmental Learning Center! Our docents assist guests in understanding the animals within our Estuary Encounter Marine Life Exhibit as well as other exhibits in the center.

Detailed training is provided. We ask our docents to volunteer for one shift per week (4 hours) and we welcome seasonal volunteers as well.
