Objective:

The Operations Manager at EDHRC will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the organization's day-to-day operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of EDHRC's programs and initiatives, with a focus on community development and affordable housing.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:

- Oversee and manage the implementation of EDHRC's programs and initiatives.

- Ensure that programs align with the organization's mission, goals, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor program outcomes and assess their impact on the community.

2. Financial Management:

- Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for different projects.

- Monitor financial transactions, expenses, and funding allocations.

- Provide regular financial reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

3. Team Leadership:

- Supervise and lead a team of staff members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture.

4. Community Engagement:

- Collaborate with community stakeholders, partners, and local authorities to enhance EDHRC's impact.

- Represent EDHRC at community events, meetings, and relevant forums.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with external organizations and agencies.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure EDHRC's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies, funders, and stakeholders.

- Keep abreast of changes in regulations affecting EDHRC's operations.

6. Administrative Oversight:

- Provide oversight for administrative functions, including office management and logistics.

- Implement and enhance operational policies and procedures.

- Streamline administrative processes for increased efficiency.

7. Strategic Planning:

- Contribute to the development and execution of EDHRC's strategic plans.

- Identify opportunities for organizational growth and program expansion.

- Work closely with the Executive Director to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or community development setting.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Familiarity with financial management and budgeting.

- Knowledge of affordable housing and community development principles.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
