Christus VNA Hospice and Palliative Care is in urgent need of compassionate and dedicated respite volunteers. These volunteers will provide much-needed support to families of hospice patients by offering relief during appointments, engagements, or other activities that don't require regular volunteer visits.

Role Description:

· Provide companionship and care to hospice patients while their families attend to personal appointments or engagements.

· Offer emotional support and a comforting presence to both patients and their families.

· Assist with light activities to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients during the volunteer's visit.

Requirements:

· A compassionate and caring attitude.

· Ability to dedicate flexible hours as needed.

· No prior medical experience necessary-training will be provided.

· Background check and references.
