This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations are carried out for the organization. This role will work alongside Sr. Leadership and serve as a point of contact for many daily external patrons and teammates. The right candidate should have some knowledge of social media best practices and trends, enjoy being creative and creating content, and gets excited by the idea of building and converting a digital audience.

General Functions:

  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports.

  • Research, compile and enter data as needed for projects.

  • Analytical and able to resolve administrative issues.

  • Articulates verbal and written ideas in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Perform general office duties and records management.

  • Assist in managing the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X.

  • Create engaging and shareable content based on our brand guidelines with the goal of increasing brand awareness through impressions, reach, engagement, and followers.

  • Support the execution of social promotions and campaigns, such as giveaways and or discounts; and track their success.

  • Support the research of and communication with influencer and brand partners to coordinate campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive measurable results.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in business, any social service program, or advertising.

  • Prefer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suites.

  • The ideal candidate must have experience in handling a wide range of administrative related tasks, an interest and passion in learning contributing beyond the day-to-day administrative aspects of the role.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality is vital.

  • The ability to be self-motivated and resourceful is pertinent.

  • Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and grammar skills.

  • Proven self-starter with ability to juggle priorities and manage expectations.

  • Experience using programs such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative is ideal, but not required.

LLC Rise Above the Violence, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to promote safer and more productive communities, schools and households. The Curtis Gray Foundation inspires youth to "be great" through mental health awareness, emotional resilience, and leadership development. This includes crisis management training provided by learning modules and our afterschool seminars and workshops:

After School Seminars & Workshops LLC Rise Above the Violence, Inc. offers summer camp, as well as seminars and workshops during after-school hours for
youth on crisis management, bully prevention, managing difficult situations, as well as peer-to-peer group therapy through open forums.
Wellness 101 Learning Modules We believe that wellness is a state of mind. Our goal is to make these learning modules evergreen, and we need your help. Our learning modules include certificates of completion on topics of depression, anxiety, stress management, and emotional resilience.
