Lead management of the virtual Tea @ 3 Community that takes place over 12 weeks each fall and winter/early spring. The position reports to the CEO and requires a mix of excellent communication skills, analytical capabilities, and data management. While remote, volunteer in greater Hartford, CT is preferred.

Tasks will include the following:

  • In collaboration with the CEO and COO, spread awareness of the virtual Tea @ 3 Community via outreach to adult living communities and senior centers. Serve as manager of the college Campus Connector volunteers, communicating with and managing the Campus Connectors prior to and during each session.
  • Update and maintain online program database in Excel with Community member information.
  • Prepare intergenerational matches and communicate matches to each member at the beginning of each 12-week session.
  • Communicate with Community members via email and phone as needed to answer questions and resolve issues, esp. as friendships begin in the first few weeks of the program's session.
  • Coordinate with Campus Connectors to plan and organize 2 online Community gatherings each session.
  • Manage collection, organization, and analysis of Community member surveys at the end of each session, reporting outcomes and impact to CEO and others as requested.
  • Assist with other program tasks as needed, including developing and implementing ideas to improve various aspects of the program.

Note: The Tea @ 3 Community has welcomed more than 500 older and young adult Community members since launching in the fall of 2020.
