Some of our patients are spending their final weeks, days, and hours of their life alone, without family and friends nearby. Although they become part of our hospice family, these individuals would benefit from your companionship and supportive presence at the end of their life.

Vigil Volunteers are trained to support patients in their final hours by holding their hand, providing reassurance, placing a cool washcloth on their forehead, creating a peaceful environment through music and aromatherapy, and offering support throughout their transition.

You will receive full hospice training and specialized Vigil Volunteer training. If this sounds like a meaningful opportunity to you, please fill out an application today at www.accentcare.com.
