Gently Hugged is a San Diego nonprofit organization that supports newborns during their first year of life by supplying gently used or new clothing, board books, blankets and more to families in need. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to volunteering in our office for a couple hours every week or couple of weeks. We are very flexible around a volunteer's schedule and use a program called Sign Up Genius for our workers to choose when they would like to volunteer.

We are specifically looking for people to sort our clean laundry and for others who will inspect the donated clothing to make sure it is in excellent condition.

The office, located at the Bernardo Winery, is a great place to volunteer, make new friendships, and enjoy helping babies in need. Every job is important and we believe in a team approach.

If you are interested, please go to the Contact Us page on our website (www.gentlyhugged.org/contact-us) and send us a message expressing your interest. Please select the sub-category "Volunteer Interest" when drafting the message, so it gets to Vicki. We look forward to meeting you!
