Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

Online Business Development and Partnerships Specialist

  • Identify and engage potential partners, sponsors, and donors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational influencers.
  • Organize and execute outreach campaigns.
  • Create and execute social media campaigns to promote partnership opportunities.
  • Develop engaging content for web and social media platforms.
  • Design marketing materials (brochures, pitch decks, videos).

Graphic Designer for Websites

  • Develop brand guidelines and design engaging visual content for web.
  • Create interactive and promotional videos.

Social Media Marketing Specialist

  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and provide insights.
  • Develop interactive posts and campaigns to boost engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Online Business Development and Partnerships Specialist: Strong communication skills, experience in partnership development, relationship management, and outreach campaigns.
  • Graphic Designer for Websites: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong portfolio, UX/UI knowledge.
  • Social Media Marketing Specialist: Experience in social media management, content creation, analytics tools.
6-Week Expected Duties and Achievements

Week 1: Establish Foundations and Initial Campaigns

  • Develop brand guidelines and outreach materials.
  • Announce partnership opportunities on social media and email.
  • Identify potential partners and stakeholders.

Week 2: Engage Partners and Drive Initial Nominations

  • Engage interested partners through follow-up emails and meetings.
  • Create tailored proposals for interested partners.
  • Launch interactive content like quizzes and polls.
  • Host webinars on partnership benefits and the nomination process.

Week 3: Expand Reach and Increase Engagement

  • Collaborate with educational influencers.
  • Recruit ambassadors from different African countries.
  • Launch and promote donation campaigns.
  • Send detailed sponsorship proposals.
  • Host live Q&A sessions with sponsors and donors.

Week 4: Voting Campaign and Mid-Campaign Review

  • Promote voting through all channels.

  • Intensify social media efforts with voting reminders.
  • Align voting campaigns with educational platforms.
  • Review engagement metrics and adjust strategies.

Week 5: Final Push and Increased Engagement

  • Intensify outreach with final reminders.

  • Continue sharing engaging content.

Week 6: Wrap-Up and Future Planning

  • Send thank you emails to participants.
