ORGANIZATION: FORT BEND COUNTY WOMENS CENTER INC

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group classes for client healing/ positivity/self-improvement, including: yoga, Zumba, self-esteem groups, parenting classes, Budgeting, Interview Skills, Resume Writing, GED prep classes, vision board making, etc...
  • Work with client engagement specialist at the residential center for scheduling.
  • Conduct classes as advertised.
  • Offer encouragement and support.
  • Greet clients in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Abide by the core values of: Service, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork.
  • Maintain survivor confidentiality at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Multi-Tasker with good organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Can fit in with team dynamic or work alone in absence of supervision.
  • Moderate to excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse clientele.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in schedule.
  • Satisfactory completion on background check and drug screening.
  • Completion of 40 hour OAG Direct Service Training

  • Support client self-determination.
