Join Treobytes for an exciting volunteer opportunity at our STEM Summer Camps hosted at San Diego City College! We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help inspire and educate young minds in the fields of STEM.
Dates and Time Commitment:
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Dates: July 29th - August 9th
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 4 hours per day
- 2-Day Training: Week of the July 22nd
- Assist camp instructors with daily activities and during check-in/check-out.
- Supervise and engage with campers during hands-on projects.
- Provide support and encouragement to campers, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of materials and equipment.
- Must be 18 or older
- Passion for STEM education and working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Gain valuable experience in STEM education and youth mentorship.
- Network with professionals and educators in the STEM field.
- Earn volunteer service hours and a certificate of appreciation.
- Make a positive impact on the next generation of STEM leaders!

These 21st century learning skills allow young learners to become more comfortable with technology and career options embedded in industries that rely on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematical degrees and certifications.
