Attention all event day volunteers! The Arthritis Foundation is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with day-of-event activities at our 2024 Jingle Bell Run in Arkansas. The Jingle Bell Run is the Arthritis Foundation's holiday 5k fun run that raises funds for youth and adults with arthritis. Join us in creating a wonderful experience for our participants!

Expected Participants: 300+

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Early volunteers will assist in setting up the site, including putting up tents, arranging tables, unloading supplies, and hanging signs and banners.
• Upon participant arrival, volunteers will manage t-shirt and race bib distribution, verify registrations, and assign numbers/bibs to those who didn't pick them up in advance.
• The race begins at 9:00 am. Volunteers will assist in setting up food and beverage stations for self-service.
• Volunteers are needed on the route to mark the course with signs, direct runners at specific points, and distribute water.
• At the finish line, volunteers will enthusiastically greet finishing runners with cowbells and noise makers.
• Four volunteers are needed at the finish line to distribute medals to participants. Festive attire is encouraged, and cheering on finishers is appreciated.
• Post-race, volunteers are essential for site clean-up and reloading supplies at the storage unit. All volunteers are encouraged to help make the site look better than when they arrived.
• A fresh crew is needed to arrive around 11:00 am to help complete the clean-up process.
