**About Faeryland's Farm:**

Faeryland's Farm is a unique and enchanting animal sanctuary and National Wildlife Habitat dedicated to rescuing animals and providing education and therapy opportunities, with a special focus on our delightful goats. Our animals bring joy and comfort to a wide range of people, including residents of assisted-living homes, students in schools, visitors at libraries and museums, individuals on the autism spectrum, and event attendees. Our diverse programs include goat yoga, goat cuddling, birthday parties, private and group educational sessions on the farm, and more.

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Marketing Director to lead and develop our marketing and outreach efforts. This role is pivotal in raising awareness about Faeryland's Farm, increasing engagement with our community, and promoting our various programs and services. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution ability, all while sharing our compassion for animals and our mission of creating a safe space for healing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Strategic Planning:**

- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase visibility, engagement, and attendance for Faeryland’s Farm programs and events.

- Identify and target key audiences including families, educators, assisted-living facilities, therapy providers, and corporate event planners.

2. **Content Creation:**

- Create compelling and consistent content across all platforms including the website, social media, newsletters, and print materials.

- Develop storytelling approaches that highlight the unique aspects of our programs, especially the therapeutic and educational benefits of our interactions with goats and other animals.

3. **Digital Marketing:**

- Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

- Oversee email marketing campaigns to keep our community informed about upcoming events, success stories, and opportunities to get involved.

- Monitor and analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement in our digital marketing efforts.

4. **Public Relations:**

- Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to garner coverage and increase public awareness of Faeryland’s Farm.

- Write and distribute press releases, coordinate media visits, and act as the primary spokesperson for media inquiries.

5. **Community Engagement:**

- Plan and execute on-farm and off-site events in coordination with other volunteers and staff, ensuring all activities promote our mission and engage the community effectively.

- Develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to expand our reach and create collaborative opportunities.

6. **Volunteer Coordination:**

- Work with other volunteers to create and implement marketing initiatives.

- Train and guide volunteers involved in marketing activities to ensure consistency and quality of communication.

7. **Fundraising Support:**

- Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop marketing campaigns that support donation drives, grant applications, and sponsorship programs.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to create and manage content that is engaging and effective.

- Experience with event planning and public relations is a plus.

- Passion for animal welfare and alignment with Faeryland’s Farm mission.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Creativity and a willingness to bring new ideas to the table.

Faeryland’s Farm is a 501c3 non profit care farm that serves as an animal sanctuary for rescued farm animals and domesticated animals that provides a safe, effective, healing environment and uses a holistic approach to the general well-being and education of humans and animals via therapeutic and educational activities. We supply animal education programs, goat therapy, and animal reiki to help comfort animals and individuals of all ages to increase mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health as humans learn to relate to animals in new ways. Our mission is to provide a safe space for healing.
