ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels Orange County

Position Overview: As an Administrative Volunteer, you will meet people with shared values, make a difference for your community all while playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate front office. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Receptionist Duties:

- Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

- Answering and transferring incoming calls.

- Greeting visitors and notifying appropriate staff of their arrival.

- Receiving UPS, FedEx, and other deliveries and informing departments of their arrivals.

Inter Office/Sites Communication, Mail and Stamp Machine Management:

- Date stamping, sorting, and turning over mail to the accounting department.

- Adding postage funds and ink to the stamp machine.

- Managing the daily inter office/site pouches communication and distribution.

Advancement Department Support:

- Providing administrative support for mailings and other communications.

- Conducting regular inventory checks of front desk materials and reporting any shortages or needs.

- Assisting the Advancement team with various projects and tasks.

**Desirable skills and experience:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in basic office equipment handling.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

- Eagerness to learn, work with a team, and independently.

- Previous experience in administrative support is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment:

Flexible business days and hours, shifts any time Monday - Friday from 8 am -4 pm. Commitment of a 2-4-hour shift per week.
