About FoCo Trash Mob

Mission Statement
FoCo Trash Mob is a non-profit organization affiliated with several other non-profits: Beyond Plastics, Break Free From Plastics, Upstream Solutions, 5 Gyres Ambassadors and others. FoCo Trash Mob works alongside national and international organizations to reduce Single Use Plastics (SUPs) by providing advocacy and actionable solutions.
Description
This group was started after the founder worked for 12 years in Waste Reduction and Recycling and saw the disturbing upward spike of non-recyclable SUPs during that timeframe. Two Team members educate about SUPs Pollution through virtual and in-person presentations. One is a graduate of the Beyond Plastics Speakers Bureau and the other is a TRUE advisor. Our campaigns are for anyone or any group to take and repeat as direct actions - we don't want people to feel helpless or that they have to reinvent the wheel.
