Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada
STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Volunteer for the Testimonial table to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week from July 16th to August 16, 2024
Responsibilities:
⦁ Conduct interviews with volunteers to gather their experiences and feedback about the academy.
⦁ Transcribe interviews accurately and efficiently.
⦁ Compile interview excerpts and quotes into compelling testimonials.
⦁ Collaborate with the marketing team to format and design testimonials for various platforms (website, social media, brochures).
⦁ Maintain a database of volunteer testimonials for easy access and reference.
⦁ May assist with photography or videography to capture visuals for testimonials (if comfortable).
Qualifications:
⦁ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
⦁ Active listening and strong interpersonal skills.
⦁ Ability to conduct clear and concise interviews.
⦁ Proficient in transcribing audio recordings.
⦁ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
⦁ Basic understanding of design principles (a plus).
