ORGANIZATION: Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners

Help keep our Food Shelf stocked with needed food and hygiene items. Volunteers pick up large donations of groceries from local retailers, drive it back to the IOCP Food Shelf, and help unload and get it onto shelves for shoppers. This job requires some heavy lifting, volunteers should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

Volunteers can use their larger personal vehicles (suv or vans) or have the choice to use organization cargo van. Driving on behalf of Interfaith Outreach requires a Motor Vehicle Report showing you're a safe driver prior to volunteering.

Since 1979, Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners has been making an impact in 8 west suburban Hennepin communities. The organization provides both emergency and long-term solutions around food and clothing, housing, employment, child care, transportation, and connections to other resources. Learning and service opportunities engage individuals, businesses, schools, faith communities, civic groups, health systems, and foundations. Together, Interfaith Outreach and its partners create opportunities for all to thrive.
