Description

Oakland Adopt a Spot is a volunteer program sponsored by the City of Oakland Public Works Agency.

Our programs are designed to help you and your neighbors play an ongoing role in maintaining and beautifying an area that needs a little extra attention.

Volunteering with the Adopt a Spot program allows you to chose from over 100 parks, creeks, streets medians, storm drains and other public spaces.

Additionally, two citywide cleanups are supported each year: Earth Day Cleanup (3rd Saturday in April), and Creek To Bay Day (3rd Saturday in September).

You can also contact us about organizing a special community cleanup.
