The Legal Services program is a joint effort between Recorder of Deed's Office in the Department of Revenue and (CORP) County Older Resident Programs in the Department of Human Services. The program provides simple estate planning to low to moderate income homeowners across St. Louis County.
Volunteer Attorney Responsibilities:
- 20 minute in person consultations with approximately 3 clients per hour of volunteer time.
- Assess client needs for simple estate planning such as affidavits, beneficiary deeds, power of attorney.
- Fill in pre-prepared legal documents with client information.
Locations include North and South County Government offices.
Commitment: Minimum 3-4 hours per month on agreed upon months

Description
County Older Resident Programs (CORP) serve adults 60 years of age and older residing anywhere in St. Louis County, Missouri, through a network of volunteers and neighborhood-based staff. CORP provides a variety of programs, services and volunteer opportunities including transportation, tax programs, social activities and home repair workers.
