In partnership with Young Man With A Plan, 826 Boston is hosting its Resume Writing Workshop for Young Man With A Plan participants! This workshop is designed to help students draft and refine their resumes.
Volunteer Requirement: For this opportunity, 826 Boston in partnership with Young Man With A Plan is seeking volunteers who identify as men of color. Young Man With A Plan is a nonprofit organization that works towards creating a new culture of brotherhood, respect, and aspiration for Boston's Black and Latino teens to help them achieve college, career, and life success. For this reason, 826 Boston is seeking volunteers who identify as men of color to volunteer alongside 826 Boston staff and Young Man With A Plan youth and staff.

826 Boston is a nonprofit writing, tutoring, and publishing organization where students in grades K-12 and beyond can share their stories, amplify their voices, and develop as leaders in school and in life.
Description
Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. With this understanding in mind, we provide drop-in tutoring, field trips, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.
All of our free programs seek to strengthen each student's power to express ideas effectively, creatively, confidently, and in his or her individual voice.
