While we love group attendance at volunteer projects, all participants in a group must be registered individually.

Do you want to help restore and sustain the Earth? This project is for you! We will be working alongside our Department of Native Landscapes Team to remove Asian Bush Honeysuckle, a harmful invasive species, along Pogue's Run with handsaws and then treat with herbicide application.

Due to the parking of this location, a short walk to the meeting location may be required.

Parking & Meeting Location: Meeting location will be at the Brookside Park Tennis Courts located at 3500 Brookside Pkwy S Dr. Restrooms will be available at noon at the Brookside Community Center.

Safety: Close toed shoes are required for this project. Pants and long sleeves are strongly recommended to reduce risk of poison ivy exposure, and only individuals with pants and long sleeves will be permitted to use herbicide. We always recommend bringing a reusable bottle for water but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB will provide tools and gloves.
