Our nonprofit is seeking a passionate and skilled volunteer Grant Researcher & Writer to join the team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our fundraising efforts by identifying grant opportunities, conducting thorough research, and crafting compelling grant proposals that align with our mission and goals.

  • Research potential grant opportunities for job-training nonprofit serving refugees
  • Create reports and calendar of deadlines for grant applications
  • Draft and submit grant proposals

Flexible hours; approximately 8-16 hours per week.

IVC is an ideal program for volunteers (50 years older or better) seeking to deepen their faith, make a difference in the world, and find deeper meaning and purpose in their service.

Description

Ignatian Volunteer Corps ( IVC) New England, a yearlong volunteer opportunity for women and men 50 years of age and better, is seeking volunteers for the upcoming (September to June) year. Volunteers generally give two full days/week of service and commit to a monthly spiritual reflection program in the Jesuit tradition. IVC works with nonprofits in the Boston/Worcester/Providence areas that address problems of homelessness, education, immigration and more.
