We are seeking a passionate and experienced volunteer to help empower our trainees to achieve their career goals.
Responsibilities:
- Review and help edit trainees’ resumes to ensure clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness
- Hold mock interviews and other interview prep with trainees; provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with case manager and director of training
- Build positive relationships with trainees and staff
Strong editing and communication skills are essential, with the ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive manner.
Flexible hours; approximately 8-16 hours per week.
IVC is an ideal program for volunteers (50 years older or better) seeking to deepen their faith, make a difference in the world, and find deeper meaning and purpose in their service.

Description
Ignatian Volunteer Corps ( IVC) New England, a yearlong volunteer opportunity for women and men 50 years of age and better, is seeking volunteers for the upcoming (September to June) year. Volunteers generally give two full days/week of service and commit to a monthly spiritual reflection program in the Jesuit tradition. IVC works with nonprofits in the Boston/Worcester/Providence areas that address problems of homelessness, education, immigration and more.
