ORGANIZATION: Parkinson Association of the Rockies

We are looking for 13 volunteers to help with registration, food and beverage distribution, and set up/ take down. e3 Conference: This conference educates attendees by hosting speakers from different specialties in Parkinson’s. The conference empowers attendees by providing resources on how to thrive with Parkinson’s through local exhibitors and sponsors. These exhibitors can include local hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, home care companies, senior living centers, and other organizations. Throughout the conference, PAR’s exercise instructors will be featuring different styles of exercise and movement to energize attendees. The energize breaks are a preview of what PAR’s exercise classes are like. This includes dance, yoga, boxing, strength and balance, and more!

Description

Parkinson Association of the Rockies provides free direct care services to the Parkinson's communities in Colorado and Wyoming. Free services include support groups, exercise programs, access to a licensed clinical social worker, educational programs, informative newsletters, and a referral and information hotline to individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families and Care Partners, and the general community. Over the past 40+ years, Parkinson Association of the Rockies has become an active association offering its members and the community tangible and innovative resources that have transformed the way patients and Care Partners thrive with Parkinson’s.
