Special Olympics Florida is excited to be hosting the Area 3 Bowling Competition on Saturday, August 3rd.

Volunteers are needed to help as lane monitors, assist with score reporting, lunch distribution, and awards.

Area 3 Bowl will take place at 2separate locations. Please sign up for the specific location that is best for you.

The locations are :

  • Bowlero East Ocala, 3225 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, FL 34471
  • Bowlero West Ocala, 1818 SW 17th St, Ocala, FL 34471

No knowledge of the sport is required and all training will be provided on-site. Volunteers will all receive a FREE Special Olympics Florida T-Shirt as well as lunch during their shift. A record of community service hours can be provided upon request.

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
