About Us: Pelvic Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing inclusive and culturally competent pelvic health education to LGBTQIA+ and Sex Worker communities. Our mission is to destigmatize and decolonize pelvic health education, ensuring it is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. Founded and led by BIPOC and queer individuals, we engage with our communities through workshops, webinars, and creative expressions like dance and art.

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Researcher to help us identify grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs. This role is critical in helping us secure funding to sustain and expand our services. The primary focus will be on finding operational grants for sustainability, with opportunities to assist in grant writing as well.


  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grants and funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Evaluate grant eligibility criteria and match them with our organization’s goals and programs.
  • Maintain an organized database of grant opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing grant proposals as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other team members to prioritize grant applications.


  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize information effectively.
  • Familiarity with grant databases and search tools (preferred but not required).
  • Passionate about LGBTQIA+ and Sex Worker rights and health.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Mission Statement

Mission Statement Pelvic Sanctuary’s mission is to increase access to pelvic health services and education in order to serve marginalized and stigmatized populations. We focus on LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and Sex Workers who lack resources and support within healthcare systems, especially in regards to sensitive pelvic health concerns.


We are NEW 501(c)3 developing safe spaces for underserved populations where we normalize and address overlooked pelvic health matters through virtual and in person workshops, lectures and classes. Content and programs are developed by Pelvic Sanctuary's stellar team of Doctors, Wellness Professionals and Creatives desiring to increase diversity in pelvic health and wellness sectors.
