Wings Ministries is seeking a dynamic and motivated Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our leadership team to implement effective fundraising strategies, manage donor relationships, and serve as a project manager for major events. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy Implementation:
Collaborates with the Wings Ministries leadership team to develop and execute fundraising strategies.
Project Management:
Serves as the project manager for major fundraising events, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution.
Donor Relations:
Maintains consistent contact with donors and partners to build and sustain strong relationships.
Manages donor accounts, including updating mailing, email, and phone solicitation lists.
Public Awareness:
Attends events to promote public awareness of Wings Ministries and its mission.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fundraising, project management, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in using donor management software and other basic computer applications.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
A commitment to the mission and values of Wings Ministries.

Description
Our volunteers serve in transitional living programs, post-incarceration release facilities, and lock-down facilities primarily in the greater Houston area. The women we serve may be struggling with addiction, have been or are currently incarcerated, are part of a court-mandated rehabilitation program, have given birth while incarcerated, are homeless, or may be victims of human trafficking.
