Opportunity:

Join Brakin Out Inc. as we move from Tampa, Florida, to Dallas, Texas! We need a passionate, enthusiastic, and organized volunteer coordinator to assist our founder in re-establishing our nonprofit. This role is vital for launching programs that empower at-risk youth through second chances, mentorships, and empowering initiatives. This position offers growth opportunities and may evolve into a paid role as the organization expands.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community strategies
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
  • Organize training sessions and events
  • Use marketing tools to attract volunteers
  • Support grant applications and fundraising
  • Provide administrative support to the founder
  • Foster a positive, fun work environment
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Passion for our mission
  • Experience in nonprofit management or volunteer coordination is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Dallas community is a plus
  • Friendly, engaging personality
