Location: Undisclosed Shelter
Mission:
To change social beliefs, attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.
Role Responsibilities:
Volunteers provide hands-on assistance with property maintenance, organization, garden work, and special projects.
Availability: Volunteers may serve 6 hours a week Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Commitment:1 year
This position requires a state certified 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training.
