Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of underserved communities and promoting economic development? Join us as a volunteer fundraiser with Healthy Impact (CEDO), and use your online presence to help us raise critical funds to support our impactful initiatives. As a volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to empower individuals and communities through economic development, all from the comfort of your own home (remotely - anywhere).

In this virtual volunteer role, you will leverage your digital skills and networks to support our fundraising campaigns, through the GoFundMe platform. Your responsibilities may include creating and sharing compelling fundraising content on social media platforms, email outreach to potential donors, and participating in online fundraising events and campaigns.

Healthy Impact Fundraising Volunteer roles/duties:

• Able to work remotely, with little to no supervision
• Have experience with online fundraising (preferred by not required), and able to run fundraising campaigns from start to finish
• Be able to identify and develop inspiring and impactful campaigns
• Have an excellent understanding of donor behavior and how to inspire people to donate, with good instincts for what can be viral and capture attention
• Be keen to learn and develop new skills, and find innovative solutions to challenges
• Write compelling emails that inspire our members to donate or take action
• Familiar with GoFundMe.org fundraising campaigns

Perks:

Healthy Impact understands that the majority of our volunteers are students who don’t work. Because of this, volunteers face many challenges like student loans, volunteer related expenses, and other school expenses. This is why we offer our volunteers the following Perks which are all optional:

• $1,000+ Raised: Optional stipend (20%)
• $5,000+ Raised: Partial Paid Trip to Uganda (ticket & visa paid for) [Or Stipend]
• $10,000+ Raised: Full Paid Trip to Uganda (All expenses: ticket, visa, accommodations) [Or Stipend]

If all of that sounds a little complicated or overwhelming, don’t worry, it is not. In a nutshell, if you can fundraise and be able to work remotely, you are in. Volunteers are a great asset to our team, and sometimes make the most memorable impact. Currently, Healthy Impact is fundraising for the following sectors/causes:

• Education: Orphans Academy, Uganda
• Medical Clinic (Women/Children), Uganda
• Refugees, Uganda
• Widows, Uganda
• Clean Water, Uganda
• Youth Tech Challenge, San Diego

Let us know if you prefer to fundraise for another cause other than those listed above. About 80 percent of all volunteering roles are remote.
