We will have our first two trainings on July 15th at 12:00 p.m. and a second option on July 17th at 6:30 p.m. Once you are trained to be a trainer, we will add your name to a volunteer list and contact you if we have an opportunity to facilitate an SOS (Signs of Suicide) training. Initial orientation training will be conducted via Zoom, and opportunities to facilitate will be statewide, in person, in New Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Mission Statement

The mission of Connor’s Climb Foundation is to provide suicide prevention education by raising awareness, reducing stigma, and equipping youth, educators, and the community at large with tools and resources focused on the vulnerable age group of 10-24 year-olds, to New Hampshire and bordering communities.

Description

Connor’s Climb Foundation collaborates with teachers and schools, the public, and the mental health system to ensure that the young people of New Hampshire have the lifesaving resources needed to prevent suicide. Through the implementation of suicide education programs in New Hampshire schools, we help educators and students foster help-seeking behaviors so that youth in need of supportive services can either reach out for them directly or get referred to them by a peer, coach, teacher or other trusted adult.

Our goal is to ensure that the youth of New Hampshire do not reach the point of crisis. Instead, they will know the warning signs of suicide, and they will know what to do when they see those signs in themselves or someone else.
