Recruiting Organization: Philly Reading Coaches
As a reading coach, you will be paired with a young reader (kindergarten to 3rd grade) to improve their literacy skills and help them develop a love for reading. Reading buddies read together, share fun stories, write, draw, play games, etc. Reading coaches are friends, mentors, and motivators.
Locations and times vary. Students attend twice a week, and the minimum volunteer requirement is once a week. No previous experience is necessary. Training will be provided.
