ORGANIZATION: Adaptive & Inclusive Movement Initiative

  • 1 person is interested

The AIM Initiative is providing adaptive summer camps to teens & young adults (ages 12-30) with disabilities and neurodiversity. These camps give an opportunity for a camper to experience adaptive dance class, adaptive music, social time, games, and more with the support of a one-on-one buddy.

Adaptive Summer Camp Buddies are the one-on-one support for each camper, encouraging and supporting them through each activity. They help create a welcoming environment for campers.

About Adaptive & Inclusive Movement Initiative

3012 NE Blakeley St, Seattle, WA 98105, US

Mission Statement

The Adaptive and Inclusive Movement (AIM) Initiative engages people with disabilities by providing opportunities to express and connect through creative movement in an inclusive environment.

Founded in 2022, the AIM Initiative provides adaptive movement classes and summer camps for youth & young adults with disabilities and neurodiversity. Identifying a clear gap in service for this community, we work to provide one-on-one support for each student in our classes & camps with the help of our teen and adult volunteers.
