STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require Volunteers for social media live posts to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week from July 16th to August 16, 2024


Responsibilities:
⦁ Develop engaging and informative content for live social media posts (platforms like Facebook Live or Instagram Live).
⦁ Work with academy staff to identify interesting topics and activities to showcase.
⦁ Host live sessions, leading discussions and interacting with viewers in real time.
⦁ Utilize creative visuals, demonstrations, or interviews to keep viewers engaged.
⦁ May assist with promoting upcoming live sessions on social media.


Requirements:
⦁ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a comfortable, engaging on-camera presence.
⦁ Basic understanding of social media platforms and live streaming functionalities.
⦁ Creativity and enthusiasm for developing interesting content.
⦁ Reliable internet connection and access to a device suitable for live streaming.
