July 13, All Day! Soccer Park in Eau Claire. This is GOTR Chippewa Valley's biggest fundraising opportunity. We have a Brat Stand, Merchandise, and a Raffle all to support scholarships to Girls on the Run, a non-profit organization that provides afterschool programing to girls in grades 3-5.

Our annual Brat Stand is in partnership with US National Kubb Championship. There are lots of ways you can help: we will be setting up all of the Kubb pitches bright and early, and selling brats and merch all day. Join us in a sunny, funny day!

At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl has the power to make healthy choices and contribute to our community. We guide them along the way with activities, team discussions, and community action plans. At the end of the season we come together for a Community, Celebratory 5K! Join us, and help us create better foundations for area youth.

Description

Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
