ORGANIZATION: SouthernCare Hospice

We have patients with Alzheimer's and dementia who like to fiddle with things, touch and move them. We are looking for someone with creativity and wood working skills to make fidget boards with gears, locks, keys, snaps, spinner, clasps etc....

There are many examples online I can show you, and each one would be made for a specific patient.

If you are interested in a project like this, please consider becoming a volunteer with hospice.

It does require the official background checking, fingerprinting etc. All volunteers and staff are vetted to the same extent. Our volunteers are trustworthy, generous people!
