Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic Fundraising and Development Volunteers to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, contribute to meaningful projects, and help us build a sustainable future for our foundation. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts, building relationships with donors, and developing strategies to increase our financial resources.

About Us:
At Living Beyond Our Dreams ("LBOD") Foundation, we strive to improve the life outcomes of families led by single mothers with substance abuse issues. Established over a year ago, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to achieve their fullest potential through various programs and initiatives. We are committed to growth and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of fundraising campaigns and events.

  • Research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors.

  • Prepare fundraising materials, including grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.

  • Utilize social media and other digital platforms to promote fundraising initiatives.

  • Track and report on fundraising progress and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify new fundraising opportunities and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for our mission and a strong desire to make a difference.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with fundraising, marketing, or communications is a plus, but not required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
