Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer/Research Volunteer to join our team. This role is crucial in helping us secure funding through well-researched and compelling grant proposals. As a volunteer, you will play a significant part in identifying potential funding opportunities, crafting persuasive narratives, and ensuring the submission of high-quality grant applications.

About Living Beyond Our Dreams Foundation:
At Living Beyond Our Dreams ("LBOD") Foundation, we strive to improve the life outcomes of families led by single mothers with substance abuse issues. Established over a year ago, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to achieve their fullest potential through various programs and initiatives. We are committed to growth and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.

  • Develop and write grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements.

  • Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.

  • Collaborate with the team to gather necessary information and data for proposals.

  • Assist in tracking the progress of submitted grants and follow up as necessary.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on research findings and grant application status.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Previous experience in grant writing or non-profit fundraising is a plus but not required.

  • Passion for the mission and values of Living Beyond Our Dreams Foundation.
