Board Member Contribution Expectations
Currently, there is no requirement to contribute to the nonprofit, but we encourage board members to give at a level that is meaningful to them, within their capacity. This can be through personal connections, hosting events, or leveraging their networks.
Meeting Schedule and Compensation
- Monthly Meetings: Board members will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
- Volunteer Positions: These are volunteer positions and do not include a salary.
- Reimbursement: Travel to events and hotel accommodations will be covered based on the budget.

Based in Herndon, VA, and with our mission stretching into the heart of Washington DC, WEBS Training Center, Inc. (EIN 87-3722464) wants to empower 1 million underserved individuals through financial education, job training, tax resolution, and healthy living programs, achieving financial independence and better health by 2040.
Description
Since our 501(c)(3) approval, WEBS Training Center, Inc. has received $40,000 in in-kind donations, helping us build a strong foundation. We focus on financial stability, community support, and educational growth through key initiatives:
- Low-Income Tax Clinic: Free legal assistance for tax issues.
- Senior Tax Assistance & Resources (S.T.A.R.) Program: Mobile unit for senior tax and financial literacy services.
- Salsa Sprouts: Indoor Garden Adventure: Indoor gardening kits for young learners and families.
- Sunday Solutions: Financial literacy workshops for ESL and low-income families.
We remain committed to empowering individuals and families through education and support services. We are excited about the future and grateful for community support as we strive to make a lasting impact.
