Duration: Flexible, minimum commitment of 10 hours/week and 6 months

About Us: Emerging Markets Investors Alliance is a dynamic and passionate nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling institutional emerging market investors to support good governance, promote sustainable development, and improve investment performance in the governments and companies in which they invest.

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a HubSpot Data Manager Volunteer. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our use of HubSpot, a crucial tool for our organization's outreach and communication efforts. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing our data management processes and maximizing our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our HubSpot database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Monitor data quality and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Develop and implement data entry standards and protocols.

  • Develop and monitor workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights on campaign performance and audience engagement.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to support their efforts through data-driven insights.

  • Assist in training staff on HubSpot functionalities and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms (certification in HubSpot is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Experience in developing and optimizing workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to our organization's mission and values.

Description

Issue Focus: The Alliance focuses on ensuring that (1) government revenues are used to deliver public services to citizens rather than siphoned off by corruption and (2) corporate practices meet high standards for anti-corruption, human rights and animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. In particular, the Alliance has the following work streams: (1) government debt and fiscal governance, (2) oil & mining sector, (3) agricultural sector, and (5) environmental/social/governance (ESG) integration into the investment process.

Activities: The Alliance’s primary activities include (1) organizing educational events for investors, (2) producing research on ESG issues, and (3) organizing forums where investors and policy experts can engage with corporate or government officials.
