Joe's Run, Walk & Roll

We are looking for volunteers to help at Joe's Walk, Run and Roll on September 7 at Hoyt Park.
Volunteers will be assigned to roles such as handing out t-shirts, registering runners, course marshal, handing out lunch, facepainting/helping with temporary tattoos. If a specific role interests you, please let us know!

This event includes a competitive 5k run and a fun walk/roll that is designed to be accessible for anyone who would like to participate. No one sits on the sidelines! Participants can expect a fully-accessible outdoor route, a complimentary lunch, raffles, popsicles by Chillwaukee, and a photo booth.

Description

Respite

Caregiver services that provide temporary relief from the daily demands of caring for a family member with a disability.

Employment

Employment services, including job coaching, placement, and employer partnerships, which assist adults of diverse abilities in securing and retaining competitive employment.

Independent Living

Independent Living support services, including housing resources and life-skills training, which promote independence for persons with various disabilities.

Resources

Our Resource Center provides information, support and referrals for the life-long needs of families affected by all types of disabilities.
