Create opportunities for disadvantaged youth to be healthy, to be happy, and to heal through sports & physical activities because we believe everyone deserves to play, look & feel their best. We do that one mission trip, sneaker drive, and child at a time.
Description
BeBetter/EmpowerThroughPlay is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Maryland. We specialize in providing education & opportunity for those in need as well as exercise & health based services in efforts to pioneer exercise therapy .
We collects new and used sneakers, cleats, and other sporting equipment and donate to youth in refugee camps and impoverished regions of the world to help them participate in sports and physical activity. We ship the donations and equipment in order to conduct health and fitness workshops providing mental and physical health education.
