Spanish-Speaking Science Tutor Needed! (Only for High School Students)

ORGANIZATION: BrookEdge Academy

One English Tutor is needed for virtual tutoring programs - High School Volunteers Only.

Program: Reading Stories in English

Science Level: Beginner Science (ie. Water cycle, plants and animals, etc.)

Expectation: To learn elementary school-level science

Starting Date: Any soonest day that the tutor can start

Session duration: 45 or 60 mins

Sessions in a week: ~1 session per week in July and August

Preferred time slots: Tutor's preference (subject to future discussion with the family).

Weeks in summer: 7 weeks if possible

Instruction languages: Spanish, English

Teaching Plans: Chosen by the tutor


Please fill in the application form published on our website to become a BEA volunteer and send over your copy of a document demonstrating (ie. report card, transcript...) your academic performance in English (and Spanish, if applicable).

BrookEdge Academy ("BEA") is a not-for-profit organization incorporated federally, whose idea founders and program operators are the students who are committed to change the world kinder by helping younger students. BEA offers quality education programs to children for free, covering Homework Support, Virtual Parties, Fun Clubs, Summer Workshops and Learning Groups. The Academy actively recruits student volunteers to breathe fun and purpose to its online programs. The Academy is a student-driven organization, and student volunteers have the options to volunteer from home.
